Bull Riding Spurs
Bull Riding Spurs
What are bull riding spurs? Bull riding spurs are a specialized type of spur designed specifically for rodeo bull riding — not for horses. Riders wear them on their boots to help maintain grip and control during a ride. Unlike traditional western spurs, bull riding spurs have a fixed (non-spinning) rowel and a specific shank angle engineered to hook into the bull rope and help the rider stay centered on the animal. They are a required piece of equipment in competitive bull riding.
Built for the arena, these black steel bull riding spurs are made to perform under pressure. With a 22½° shank angle and a 2¼" shank, they deliver precise, consistent contact every ride. The 1" band with tie-down posts keeps them locked in place so you can focus on the ride — not your gear.
